Purpose of the guideline: Split-thickness skin graft is widely used in the repair of trauma, burns and chronic wounds. In the transplantation of split-thickness skin graft, the management of the donor site, including the selection of donor site and the standardized treatment of donor site wound, has great significance in the improving the quality of healing. However, up to now, there is no professional guideline or standard for the management of split-thickness skin grafting donor site in clinic. Therefore, in order to standardize the treatment measures for faulted skin grafting donor site, the Editorial Committee of Chinese Journal of Burns and Wounds preliminarily formulated an expert consensus on the management of split-thickness skin grafting donor site suitable for China's current medical environment by referring to relevant guidelines and standards for the treatment of donor site wound in Europe and the United States and combining with the actual situation of clinical work in China. It is hoped that this consensus will be a starting point of the standardization of the management of split-thickness skin grafting donor site in clinic practice.
